Synopsis

A prisoner for the crimes of her father, Kenna finds herself locked away in the hidden realm Fengsel Verden. With thoughts of revenge and suffering rolling through her head the last thing she needs is to be distracted. Especially by one of the Guardians keeping her imprisoned in her cell. And yet, there is a connection between them that even she can not deny.

Vlad, the keeper of Madness, had spent years as an unfeeling monster. That was until their newest prisoner came to stay. Kenna gets under his skin, but worst of all she is awakening his cold, dead heart and making him feel once more. She triggers something inside of him that he had thought long buried, and now he is determined to free her, no matter the cost.

As their connection strengthens and attraction continues to heat, they must work together to find the hidden secrets in this realm, or they might never be free of it. Will this connection be enough or was their fate doomed from the start?
